AIESEC International is committed to protecting any personal data about you that we collect and process on our on-line services. In using this service and providing your personal data, you agree to AIESEC International processing your personal data as set out below. Furthermore, any local or national committee which accesses or processes personal data taken from this service must do so strictly in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

In order to provide you with all the services offered by AIESEC, your data may be processed outside of the EEA, in countries which do not offer as high a level of data protection as the EEA. Your data is however only processed within AIESEC network of local and national commities and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

AIESEC International collects the personal data that you submit for the purpose of providing you with information about AIESEC, membership administration and management of the services we offer; the Exchange Program, surevys and on-line polls, applications for events organised and advertised by AIESEC and for statistical purposes in order to improve our services.

If AIESEC International or any other local or national committee wishes to use your personal data for any purpose other than indicated in this Privacy Statement you will be given the opportunity to explicitly consent to the use of your personal information for these other purposes.

AIESEC International does not collect any data about you from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide relates to you and is accurate, complete and remains up to date.

After the expiry of your membership in AIESEC your data will be processed by our alumni system. If you object to the use of your data for statistical purposes, please don't accept this policy.

In order to profit from the network AIESEC has established, registered users will be eventually able to search for contact details of other users who are registered in our systems.

We have implemented security policies and technical measures to protect your personally identifiable data from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure and unauthorised modification. The individuals authorised by AIESEC International to access your data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.

You can change or complete the data that AIESEC International holds about you by following the update procedure included in the systems. If you want your personal data to be deleted from the system, please don't accept this policy.

AIESEC International may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your AIESEC.net account or by placing a prominent notice publicly.

Usage Policy

AIESEC.net give all users a place to meet, interact, and share ideas with each other. Just like a real community, you may have different opinions than other AIESEC.net users. The AIESEC.net experience is best when people remember a few rules. AIESEC International sets out the terms and conditions of your use of our services in the AIESEC.net Privacy Policy, our Guidelines, and in other rules that we may place on our site. For your use of AIESEC.net, some of the key things to remember are:

• You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other users and communities.
• You may not post content that is harmful to minors.
• You may not post content that is obscene, otherwise objectionable, or in violation of international and state law.
• You must stay on topic. If you want to discuss a topic that is not related to the Community or Forum in which you are participating, try going to another topic area or create a new one.
• You may not use AIESEC.net for commercial or advertising purposes.
• You may not post content which infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties (no pirate software, MP3s etc).
• You may not post adult-oriented content.
• Some content may be more appropriate in some contexts than others. AIESEC International reserves the right to remove content that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate and in violation of our rules.
• You may not use AIESEC.net solely for the purpose of storing and archiving files which are not related with AIESEC activities.

If you are unsure whether your content is consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not post your content in AIESEC.net.

AIESEC International Right To Terminate
AIESEC International, in its sole discretion, may terminate or remove any content, community or your membership immediately and without notice if:
(a) AIESEC International believes that you have acted inconsistently with the spirit or the letter of the AIESEC.net Terms of Service or the AIESEC.net Guidelines, or
(b) AIESEC International believes you have violated or tried to violate the rights of others.

Please help us keep AIESEC.net an enjoyable and benefitial system. If you see a community or content that violates our rules, please let us know by contacting system administrators.

E-Mail Policy

You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This means that you, and not AIESEC International, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via the AIESEC.net e-mail service. AIESEC International does not control the Content posted via the AIESEC.net e-mail service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You understand that by using the AIESEC.net e-mail service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under no circumstances will AIESEC International be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, for any errors or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the AIESEC.net e-mail service.

• upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
• harm minors in any way;
• impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a AIESEC International official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
• forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the AIESEC.net e-mail service;
• upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
• upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party;
• upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas (such as shopping rooms) that are designated for such purpose;
• upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
• interfere with or disrupt the AIESEC.net e-mail service or servers or networks connected to the AIESEC.net e-mail service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the AIESEC.net e-mail service;
• "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or
• collect or store personal data about other users.

You acknowledge that AIESEC International does not pre-screen Content, but that AIESEC International and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or move any Content that is available via the AIESEC.net e-mail service. Without limiting the foregoing, AIESEC International and its designees shall have the right to remove any Content that violates these guidelines or is otherwise objectionable. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Content. In this regard, you acknowledge that you may not rely on any Content created by AIESEC International.

You acknowledge and agree that AIESEC International may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
(a) comply with legal process;
(b) enforce these guidelines;
(c) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third-parties; or
(d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of AIESEC International, its users and the public.

You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the AIESEC.net e-mail service, including your Content, may involve
(a) transmissions over various networks; and
(b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
